User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4

Managed users under Mac OS X 10.5.x are unable to access many websites.
The problem does NOT exist under Mac OS X 10.4.
Users with "Parental Controls" enabled, are no longer able to access a lot of websites because they're unable to log in.
Instead of getting access to the site, after specifying their credentials, they will be getting a "Bad Request" message.
No problems with Safari, though...so I think it must be something with FireFox.
I have tested ALL versions of FireFox from 2.0.x to 3..0.4. It's
always the same.

Here's a comment from a developer:

When looking through this issue it appears as if the problem lies in the
fact that Firefox and Parental Controls doesn't allow the POST method to
work correctly. This would destroy any website that has logins, etc.

Unfortunately this is something that can't be fixed on our end, and
needs to be fixed by firefox or apple. Post is such a large part of web
development it's nearly impossible to work around.

The application we're trying to access is an internal reporting tool, but I'm sure it will be easy to reproduce.
I could also give you access to one of our systems...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Just wanted to add:
NO Change with OS X 10.5.6 and FireFox 3.0.5
Please see 443014 -> others are reporting it as well.
This is a serious issue for our business...and a showstopper for Firefox, as
it works fine with Safari.
Also, with Hotmail and Mac osx Parental control set for time limit, Hotmail asks for a browser refresh when opening an e-mail. Sometimes it asks for a browser refresh right away. Able to get into Hotmail with no problem. Just can't read an e-mail. Works okay if mac parental control is turned off. mac osx 10.5.6, firefox 3.0.7
Duping forward to the bug which has more information ...
