Try to install an Add-on 2. Wait for the 4sec timer to finish 3. Move the the Add-on installation window or press Alt-TAB or change to another virtual desktop and return back Actual Results: The timer rests to 4sec. Expected Results: The install button is active.
Doesn't happen for me on Vista if I just move it but doing a alt+tab to another windows and back does reset the timer.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Still reproducible in 3.5RC1
It's intentional that unfocusing the dialog (e.g. with alt+tab) resets the timer. That protects against attacks that involve moving other windows around. I think this goes all the way back to bug 162020. Moving the dialog while it has focus shouldn't reset the timer, though.
Severity: minor → S4
