Hi, this is with Gecko/20000729, m18, (20 o'clock build)
Got to http://www.teamone.de/selfhtml/tchea.htm
You will see that no radio button is checked.
According to:
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/interact/forms.html#radio
At all times, exactly one of the radio buttons in a set is checked. If none of
the <INPUT> elements of a set of radio buttons specifies `CHECKED', then the
user agent must check the first radio button of the set initially.
This is not the case with Mozilla and produces indeterminated results.

Added a simplified testcase. Occurs in Linux '073009.

Just for info:
On both Netscape 4.74 and IE 5.5 none of the radios are selected.
Reproduced on build 20000730 on Win2k
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: PC → All

When I looked at forms.html it states that the current specification differs
from RFC 1866 (HTML 2.0) in that user agent behaviour for choosing which control
is initially "on" is undefined. Does that mean that exactly one button must be
checked at all times?
Additional information: Windows button controls do not enforce this either.

I just had another bug like this that I cannot find at the moment. Mozilla when
emulate NavQuirks for non-strict DTDs, and will adhere to the RFC for strict
DTDs. Meaning, no radios will be checked/selected when NOT in strict DTD, and
the first radio will be checked/selected when it is a strict DTD.
Note: I think transitional now may be interpreted as a strict DTD.
Marking invalid.
