This behaviour exists on Firefox 2 and 3 as well in Linux. I thought it was the site but Firefox on Windows it is much faster. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://pcfinancial.ca 2.click on the "go" to start an online banking session 3. Actual Results: page is slow to load Expected Results: Page should load quickly like in Windows version of Firefox.

Additional Information: I ran followed the trouble shooting suggestions above with the same results. I'm using only 1 PC running Fedora 8. I run Windows XP and Fedora 10 in VMware sessions. In Fedora 8, if I open Firefox 2 or 3 and go to http://pcfinancial.ca then click on the "go" link at the top, I can switch to my windows XP VM session, open Firefox, type the URL click on the "go" link and the page will load at least 10 seconds before Fedora 8 Firefox loads the page. I did notice my Fedora 10 Virtual Machine session loaded the page much faster than Fedora 8 but still slower than the XP VM session.
On Linux Mandriva (about same network config as Fedora), for me, this site is displaying very fast. Try to disable ipv6. For me, it was a great difference.
After disabling IPv6 in Fedora 10, the web page http://pcfinancial.ca is now loading quickly.
I forgot to mention I updated my Fedora 8 host to Fedora 10 and experienced the same problem until disabling IPv6.
Resolving as WORKSFORME if IPv6 is disabled.
