When I copy file from one place to another in GNOME it uses it's special "progress bar" panel for handling progress bars. So when I download a file from firefox it would be great to show that progress bar at that panel.

If you can't understand what panel am I talking about - here it is on screenshot of copying file: http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/3203/kost-bebix.2/0_1b208_84323245_XL

Thank you.

Reproducible: Always
Interesting idea. Basically you're suggesting that the Firefox download manager be integrated into the desktop environment's transfers list, where available. This sort of idea would also probably apply to KDE 4.2, as I think they have a similar thing now in a Plasma widget.

Not sure if this sounds like something likely to get built in. Would make a neat extension, though.
