Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Mozilla doesn't handle spaces to well in addresses, in the address bar.If there is a space, for example http:// www.mozilla.org; mozilla's page doesn't show up because of the space.Mozilla should auto correct, or still dispaly page.
Another example: http:// google.com (No loading, just blank).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write an address in the address bar, inserting a space between the handler and the address.
2.You see no loading.
3.Just a blank page.
Actual Results:
Blank.
Expected Results:
Correct the address, or ignore the space. And the display the page.
I don't know if it is a security issue, but an attacker, might manipulate the Mozilla, somehow, to add that space, and the user wouldn't see any web pages anymore!

Not security-sensitive, probably a duplicate, pretty sure I've seen this bug somewhere else in Bugzilla...

"http:// www.mozilla.org" and "http:// google.com" actually work for me via Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky".
For Jeff Walden: i'm pretty sure u didn't, i'm not a newbie in bug reports; i searched before submitting.
For Ria: That's something else, it's about auto-correction.
For Dao:So why have an address bar? when u turn on mozilla , just pops up google.com, no address bar, just smth to show u ,on what page u are; google's search field, the new address bar for ALL BROWSERS!!!!!
As u can see at ur comment, mozilla interprets as a link , only what is "sticked" to the "//" part (ur case, nothing).
