User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5
On numerous web sites the printed Web link information is printed on top of other Web link information. Makes it extremely difficult to read and select the desired link.
On the same websites, Internet Explorer does not overlay this information. I know the website developer should fix this problem. It would be nice if Firefox fixed because my efforts to date with the websites has resulted in nothing happening. Thanks, Glenn
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select website https://personal.vanguard.com/us/home
2.View center of the page
3.
Expected Results:
Read the website link choices so the appropriate one can be chosen.

Can you post a screenshot? I don't see anything wrong with the page.

Pages looks fine for me too. (latest 3.0 & 3.1 on Linux) After attaching a screenshot, please give the following a try:

Don't reply via email; comment in the bug as stated in the bugmail header.

I cannot "note" anything as I can't see what you're seeing. Post a screenshot as requested so I can. If need be, draw a big circle around what you're trying to point out.
The page looks quite normal to me. You're going to have to show and describe problems explicitly. Don't assume I can see what you can or know what you're talking about. Please be specific.

Again, REPLY IN THE BUG REPORT, not via email. (and press send only once)
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html
I'm not going to bother attaching the screenshots you sent me here as I've figured out the problem from them. You have "zoom text only" turned on and have it zoomed in somewhat.
To reproduce the screenshot exactly, starting from no problem:
1. https://personal.vanguard.com/us/home
2. Check view->zoom->"zoom text only"
3. pres ctrl+plus 3 times
4. text will overflow and cover up things, because it's now bigger and the images aren't
The way to turn this off is #3 in the page linked to in comment 4. From the page in question just go to view, zoom, then reset. Turn off text only zoom too if you don't want it.
This is not a bug. You just have your zoom set in a way which isn't useful. Just reset it.

Hi Dave, Tried your suggestions on Zoom before reporting the problem. Tried them again. Still have the same problem. Just smaller if I zoom in so the website covers about 10% of the screen. Still has copy overlay and incorrect display of info.
Please remove this bug from the list. I have learned to live with it. Thanks to all for the interest and assistance. Glenn

Did you make sure to have the zoomed page open before resetting? (reset is for the current page) It is clearly caused by having your text zoomed. I can reproduce your screenshot *exactly*. Did you also try changing your font sizes? (same effect; also in comment 4) All your fonts look big; you could have something else set large somewhere.

Don't just give up. It's quite fixable.
