But printing page 2 prints everything except the listing. By printing page 1 and 2 gets a listing on page 2. This is a waste of paper and ink. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Print Reveiw shows listing on page 2 of www.tvguide.com 2.Printing page 2 gets no listing printed. 3.Printing page 1 & 2 gets listing on page 2. Waste of paper and ink. Actual Results: Listing is on page 2 when you print page 1 & 2. Expected Results: It should print listing by printing page 2 alone. I'm running FF 3.0.5. Internet Explorer 7 prints page 2 like it should. This started doing this at lower ver. below 2.0.0.x

I don't entirely understand the bug & the steps to reproduce. It sounds like you see correct behavior when you print all pages, but you get broken behavior when you print just page 2 by itself. (i.e. when you opt to print *just* that page in the print dialog) Is that right? Also -- could you attach a screenshot showing the issue, and/or a print-to-PDF printout that shows what's wrong? ('BullZip PDF Printer' is free & pretty handy for this -- see http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php )

I found that on my home pc, running w/98 and FireFox 2.0.0.18 print review shows the listing on page one and prints listing from page one. I suspect if I could get 2.0.0.18 back on this Windows XP at work it would work correctly. That is, it would probably print from page one again. As I can't find 2.0.0.18, 3.0.5 still shows the listing on page 2 and still requires printing page 1 and 2 to get the listing. Once again, Internet Explorer ver 7 is my saviour until this is resolved.

This problem is ocuring on Windows XP. Don't know about other platforms. One more time, printing page 2, which shows the listing in print review, print has everything except the listing. If I print page 1 & 2, I get the listing on page 2. I'm running 2.0.0.20 and it works just fine. I can print the listing by printing page 2 by itself.

If it is, could you explain what specifically is different between when you print pages 1 & 2 vs. when you print page 2 by itself? (as I asked in comment 4)
I'm running Windows XP and Firefox 2.0.0.20 and it works by printing page 2 with the tvguide grid prints fine. On 3.0.5 I had to print page 1 & 2 to get the grid to print on page 2. If I print page 2, it prints everything (adds and such) on page 2 except the grid. In other words, I'd have to print page 1 & 2. Once again, it waste ink and paper because and page 1 is useless. I hope this explains the problem. Just for the worth of it, 2.0.0.20 doesn't show the update button or the two left and two right arrows either. But I can find them with the mouse because I know where they are. I can't explain any better than this
FWIW, listing printed just fine including page 2 only mode Michael desires on my setup (WinXP SP3 / Firefox 3.5.9). If Michael agrees, this bug could be closed?
Hi Michael, I did a print to pdf of the link http://www.tvguide.com/listings/ you mentioned and I got 2 prints one for all the pages and another for page #2 only. In page 2 I got TV listing. I am not sure how it can be computer or system error while it is just printing related activity.
johere, I used FF 43.0.4 with Print Background enabled and Scale set to 90% (my standard setting for FF). I printed it to a PDF file using Win2PDF 7 Pro (the gold standard IMHO). The resulting 9-page PDF file was an excellent rendition except for the footer (which was missing the links - no great loss). I would ensure your FF is up-to-date and then make sure your PDF file writer is up-to-date. I would hazard a guess that if FF Print Preview looks correct, it is the PDF file writer. Their quality varies widely and the free ones, in my personal experience, just don't measure up. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit i7 16GB

This issue is very old and the site itself most certainly went through changes so it is hard to follow what exactly was the issue here when it was reported. Print-preview of the whole site with listings looks ok-ish but still not sure what the original issue was here.
So closing this issue as resolved:worksforme, but please do re-open if it is still reproducible with the current state of the site and with further info.
