User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090104 SeaMonkey/2.0a3pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090104 SeaMonkey/2.0a3pre Sporadic problem - occurs only ~ 1/2 of the time I look in the "Sent" folder of my email account the headings are norrmal, but when I click on an email, the body appears to be empty this is not actually the case. I can got to the file system and see the message body I can also use email->search->body search for text in the message body (& find the messages containing that text) The problem seems to be in rendering Note that the problem does not occur for inbox, or for some sub-folders Also, re-indexing does not fix the problem... Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Email 2. Go to Sent folder 3. Click on a message Actual Results: The message body appears to be empty, even though it is not. Expected Results: The message body would appear with its notmal contents This seems to have occurred in the last week...
I can confirm this using: Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090105 Mnenhy/0.7.5.20005 SeaMonkey/2.0a3pre I have first noticed this Problem with the 2009-01-02 Nightly-Build in an Win2k-VM, but have it too on the WinXP-System, but only the POP3-Accounts which was set as Default-Account, not for IMAP-Accounts and other POP3-Accounts, nor for Messages in an Subfolder of the "Sent" Folder. The Message-Pane was empty when mark Messages from the Sent-Folder, also when open the Messages in an new window. There are no Errors in Error-Console. Create and send a new Message, autocopy it into the Sent-Folder makes all Message-Bodys from Messages in the Sent-Folder visible.

I have tried to cut down the regression-range, but was not successful. But after a little investigation I have noticed, that rebuild the summary-file for the "Sent" Folder will make the Bodies visible again. After sendíng an new message from an POP3-Account (where an copy was saved in the Accounts Sent-Folder), do not enter the "Sent" Folder, close SeaMonkey, restart, go to the "sent" Folder, the Message-Bodies are not displayed again. When I go to the Sent-Folder after sending the message in the same session, the Message Bodies from sent messages were visible. So it seems, that there was something wrong with fireing an event to rebuild the Sent-Folders summary-file when go to it in an new session after sending an message from the related account. Hmm. First I thought, that the Fix from Bug 471307 might have caused the regression, but since I can't get an regression-range while reproducing the Bug while using different Builds was not easy, I am pretty unsure.
FYI. Bug 471682 is for similar issue/phenomenon of Tb trunk on Sent folder.
