Comments by lbaliman:

Direkt Anlage Bank (DAB) sidebar tab will load correctly into the browser
window, but hangs attempting to load into the sidebar. Loading indicator comes
on and cycles.Copying Sudhakar and MartaS for "counselling" on all-panels.rdf
side.DAB sidebar tab content is at: http://www.diraba.de/mysidebar/

Comments by jrgm:

I looked at the sidebar URL and moved it to another server. In the HTML for
the sidebar, there is a document.open();document.write(...);document.close();
in the middle of a <table>. If I remove the .open(), the sidebar will load
correctly; otherwise it spins forever. So, it's a JS/DOM problem, but of a
different kind. [It might be appropriate to call this bug fixed (again), and
open a new bug for the DAB sidebar panel. We can reopen this bug if the
originally reported problem occurs again].
Not sure what the problem was, but it works now...

Marking FIXED.

DAB tab loads correctly now because they made the recommended source code fix,
not because the client-side problem was solved.

Could someone provide the source for the version that doesn't work?

DAB source code is here: http://www.diraba.de/mysidebar/

They did the recommended change, removing open, and the tab started to load
correctly. As far as I know, there were no other changes.

Ralph Kruse (see cc-list) is the tab developer, and could tell us for sure.

Ralph, would you please comment? Thanks, Linda
I suspect that using document.open() in a sidebar works now but I haven't had
the time to check, I'll leave this bug open untill I know if this is fixed or not.
