User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120121 Firefox/3.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120121 Firefox/3.0.5 i'm using the above domain through a hosting company, http://www.portfoliositez.com/, and i've worked with them today to find out why my site is generating an "undefined error" when it attempts to load my Mp3 file. it has worked just fine for months but now it is all of sudden only working intermittently. if the song doesn't automatically load you'll see "undefined" in the name of the song ( just click the music note in the upper right corner) - you can advance to the next "track" and it plays just fine ...so for some reason at times when the flash site loads it may or may not play the MP3...do not see this problem in other browswers (Safari, Google Chrome,etc)...i've worked with the tech support of http://www.portfoliositez.com/ and they are saying that the back end looks fine and that they can recreate the problem using Firefox but not with other browers. TIA! Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://www.discoveryoflife.com/index2.php 2. if music doesn't automatically load go to the music note in upper right hand corner and see that the "title" is "undefined" 3. to get the track to play manually advance to the next track by clicking right arrow. Expected Results: that music/mp3 will load automatically w/o having to advance beyond the "undefined" track
the "mp3" isn't seen by the browser, this is just a big flash site (btw: with nice photos) and the music is played by flash. The mp3 seems to work fine using Seamonkey trunk and flash10 r12 on win32 (tried it multiple times) Reporter: Which flash version is installed on your system ? (type about:plugins in Firefox as URL) But i can see an issue with the photos if you do a shift+reload, the initial photo gets displayed, blinks and after that the photo Area is empty. Using reload instead it starts working again. Reproduced with FF3.0.5 and SM trunk.

Summary: MP3 not loading → Flash plugin issue with Sound Player
Summary: Flash plugin issue with Sound Player → Flash plugin issue with playing mp3
Testing on Windows XP, I was able to reproduce the problem with all Firefox versions I tried, mostly not immediately after loading the page, but after a few reloads the sound always stopped at some point. So if this is Firefox' fault, this is not a (recent) regression.
I see this problem with an old Flash 8 version as well so it is not a (recent) flash plugin regression.

Use the "additional comments" field if you scroll down instead of the status whiteboard. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- i just went the Adobe website and made sure that i have the latest version of Flash and the problem is still persisting...so i'm thinking it's a browser issue?? please let me know if need to take any additional steps. TIA! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The latest version is unspecific and i gave you an easy way to find you used flash version, just type "about:plugins" as address in Firefox, without the "". But it seems that Ria can reproduce this issue.
