Every once in a while I'll try to bring up Thunderbird and it is hung up--It wont come to the front when I click on it in the dock. This happens about once every couple of weeks or so and has been doing it for a long long time (a year or so), spanning several versions. When I force quit it, apple brings up a stack trace and ever time it's in the same place -- waiting on a condition variable inside the IMAP protocol.

I am connecting to a Cyrus IMAP server on a x86 Debian server.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just leave thunderbird open for weeks at a time.
2. It hangs.
3. There is no step 3!
Actual Results:  
It hangs.

Expected Results:  
Not hang.

Attachment: My backtrace from when I force quit.

Here is my backtrace from when I force quit Thunderbird. I've been paying
attention to them for a while so I'm sure that at least the last few
functions are the same every time this happens to me.

I've trimmed all the threads except the main thread because stupid bugzilla is whining that attachment is too big. If you want to see more, just ask.

David, can you reproduce with a beta and attach imap log?  beta 2 will be available within a few days

What happens if you use beta 2?

I've been running a daily shredder build for about a month or 2 and I haven't had this bug happen.

Of course, the nature of intermittent hangs makes me a little wary to say it's completely gone... But it's looking good so far.
