In pop configuration when i receved a new mail thunderbird icon jump (genius animation of the dock) indicating numbers of new mails, but in IMAP reception, icon change (set number of new mails) but does no animation on the dock. We only can know if there is a new mail by openning the dock. I tried to check and uncheck the configuration box but there is no response in IMAP receving mails.

Do you have growl installed?

There is no such build. Please copy and paste the build identifier from Help -> About.
No growl installed. I've had installed gmail notifier but I've uninstalled it before I test thunderbird beta2
This is WFM with pop *and* imap accounts (I test all my mac-biff patches with imap, fwiw).

What are your pref values for:

mail.biff.animate_dock_icon
mail.biff.show_alert

?
mail.biff.animate_dock_icon : false
mail.biff.show_alert : true

i turn dock_icon into true value and test it.
After i change the value, i've receved a new mail -> the icon jump
but after.... no more moves (it just work one time)

after one day test, no change visible...
I can see the number of new mails on the thunderbird's icon when i go on the dock with my mouse, but no dock animation when i receved a new mail.

OK, so this is not a bug, but rather how we do biff notifications now. Note that the fix for bug 460287, which is landing soon, will allow alerts to happen after we set biff. Right now, when an account gets new mail, we bounce the dock or alert via growl (I'd suggest you install growl, btw), and that's it--it won't happen again no matter how much new mail comes in. I'm fixing this, but as part of other bugs.
