Reproducible: Always
I'm not sure all that functionality exists for Tb tabs, does it? Likely this might be a part of bug 392328. However would make more sense for me to understand what kind of tab options we need and then make preferences for those options that make sense to have prefs. I don't think we should make a bunch of prefs UI and then try to fit things in behind them. bug 468704 is likely about show / hide of the tab bar

Joshua, do you still see a need for this? If you do, can you provide more detail? Currently the only UI exposed pref Firefox exposed that might be applicable to Thunderbird is Warn me when closing multiple tabs (4 others don't really translate to THunderbird, like Open new windows in a new tab instead) Thunderbird has two - close message window/tab on move or delete (not really tab specific) - open new messages in tab / window / ... (but not about tab control per se)
I haven't felt the need for any changes in this recently. I'm closing as WFM.
