User authenticating after clicking link to experimental search engine see search engine sent to add-ons manager. STR: 1. Get the url for an experimental search engine, i.e. at the moment https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/downloads/file/44816/ubuntu-vn-20090112.xml 2. Log out. 3. Open https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/downloads/file/44816/ubuntu-vn-20090112.xml 4. Authenticate. 5. See XML file in add-ons manager
I can confirm this -- instead of adding it as a search engine, this fires up the add-ons manager, which then (rightly) complains that this is not a valid install package.
