Permissions are not the problem. I have tried this on two different MacBook Pros. Same result. This is really weird. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try the URL "file:///usr" (listed) 2. Try the URL "file:///usr/share" (File not found) 3. I can't reproduce. I tested on OS X 10.5.6 with FF 3.0.5. Entering file:///usr/share in the location bar works just fine on my system.
