file:///any_directory just displays Name, Size and Last Modified headers, but doesn't display any files. May be related to bug 34457 Build is from a fresh checkout 8/1/00
worksforme on 2000080108 linux....
wfm 080204 win98.
WFM Win98SE Build 80208
FYI, just rechecked (in case some of my other testing had destabilized Moz): I still can't see any directories with file:. Perhaps it's a FreeBSD thing; pollmann@netscape.com has a FreeBSD system available for testing.
Works for me on FreeBSD 4.1-STABLE (9 Aug) with Mozilla from CVS (11 Aug) and M17 binary.
The bug was fixed sometime between ~8/10/00 and 8/21/00. Verified fixed in fresh pull/clobber 8/21/00.
