Details
I created a top-level html/xmlextras directory before finding out that new
projects should go under the html/projects directory. Per endico, please move
the contents of html/xmlextras to html/projects/xmlextras and have gila forward
everything under the old directory to the new.
Comment 1•25 years ago

actually vidur, you should move the files. risto can set up the
forwarding.
Comment 2•25 years ago
|
||
Please _copy_ the content to new location first. I'll then set the forward, and
once that's done please delete the old content.

According to the previous comments here, this is a matter of placing redirects
in the .htaccess files, which is a webmaster thing. Reassigning back to webmaster.
This may or may not even be necessary, note that this bug is ancient and just
got recovered from the bottomless pit of forgotten bugs. It may have been dealt
with log ago and nobody closed it. Someone needs to decide if something really
needs to be done.

Well,
<http://www.mozilla.org/xmlextras/>
... doesn't redirect to:
<http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xmlextras/>
... here. Actually, now it is the other way around with some ugly JS/http-equiv
method.
So where should these files go and do we want to preserve their CVS history?

Both of these now redirect to devmo. I guess this bug can be closed?

The second one has the ugly redirect. I'll add an htaccess one and CVS remove the file then close this out.
