If you have bookmark folders on the bookmarks toolbar, you can right click on the bookmark in the folder and can use the 'delete' option from the pop-up menu. This feature works for bookmarks on the toolbar in Mac OS X86 but not for bookmarks which are inside a folder on the toolbar.
This bug is not present on Windows and Linux and is present only on Mac.
This is true for all Mozilla Firefox 3.x builds.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a bookmark folder on the toolbar.
2.add bookmarks in the folder
3.try to Ctrl+Click
Actual Results:
No pop-up menu comes for bookmarks inside the folder.
Expected Results:
Expected a pop-up with options that include open, delete etc.,

that was done by design on Mac, some Mac guy can probably give you major details on the choice

It would be very interesting to know the rationale for the action if it is done by design. Especially , when bookmarks on the toolbar itself can be deleted with Ctrl+Click pop-up option but this feature is not propagated to bookmarks in the folders on toolbar.

It's by design because you don't get a context menu for menu's on OS X. It'd be a horribly foreign user experience.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
