User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; cs; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2 When Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 crashes, the session isn't saved. After starting the application again, the homepage is shown (although according to my setting all previously opened tabs should be restored) and the closed tabs can't even be accessed through about:sessionrestore. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090112 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre You didn't give a link to the URL with the problematic crash, so I simulated a crash by killing the process in the task manager, and restoring tabs worked fine for me in this case.
Version: unspecified → 3.1 Branch
Oh, I tried killing the process and the window shows up only with homepage, as usual for me, because it happens for me with every crash on every page. :-/ I must have some kind of wrong configuration, probably caused by installing and uninstalling Tab Mix Plus - don't you have any idea where could I set this up?
Oh my god, I found it in about:config: browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash was set to false. Probably the Tab Mix Plus extension set it and didn't restore the setting after uninstalling. :-( Sorry for misconception...
