User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_6; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.27.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.1 Safari/525.27.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20081204 Thunderbird/3.0b1 On OS X, when trying to set Monaco as the default font for all types of fonts (Serif, Sans-Serif, Monospace) the text will still be anti-aliased, leading to very fuzzy font. At the same time, font sizes 8-10 px appear exactly the same and do not even use Monaco. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Thunderbird 3.0b1 on OS X. 2. Set the font preferences for "Western" to use Monaco for all fonts, set font size to 8, 9 or 10px. 3. Open a plain-text messsage. 4. Use Pixie.app to compare Thunderbird's rendering to Mail.app's for the setting of Monaco 10. (I compared the letter 'J' here) Actual Results: Thunderbird's font rendering is not correct, doesn't use Monaco. (And anti-aliasing cannot be turned off, even with the config editor)
