Eudora may have the wrong port selected for IMAP. A now-fixed TBird bug had 993 as the default while showing 143.

You can manually set the port and all appears to be well after that.

The new Eudora versions are based on Thunderbird. The fact we've fixed it in Thunderbird means that the next Eudora release will pick it up by default. Therefore marking as duplicate as there's nothing to do here.
