After 2 minutes of hang it finally resumes normal activity. Cleared all browsing activity. Does not happen with other browsers (safari) nor other computers on network. I have disabled all extension and add ons. This did however start happening after installing two extensions: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5244 and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4072 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open fire fox (opening a new window or tab does not reproduce problem) Actual Results: Firefox hangs for 2 minutes (approx.) Expected Results: Should open as usual. Using everything default.
Can you try to disable the phishing protection in the Firefox preferences ?
Disabled phising protection and problem continues. Aditionaly this happens no matter the first webpage being loaded. Also i can browse to other pages within the 1st 10 seconds, it hangs no matter the page.
Could you please try this with a new profile please ? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles This WFM...
Same thing happened even when just opening profile manager. It happened again after deleting and re-creating profile. Could you please try disabling all plugins in the plugin panel. Try this support item and tell us if it works. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+plugins
