475958 - reviews disappeared/missing/lost/deleted?

There are reports from several add-on developers that theirs add-ons lost reviews. Please investigate what's going on.

Examples:
WASP https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/4001 from 4 to 1 (now 2)
Garmin Communicator https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/10278
Awesome Throbber https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/8828 from 3 to 2

I confess to have deleted reviews on my own if the linked to add-ons with bumped maxversion at rapidshare, insulted other people or only bribed for other add-ons. But in this case, the add-on developers complained, so I guess it is something different.

The database on my dev site is a couple weeks old so I did some checks.  Sometimes a review here and there matches up but they are definitely different.  Review ids are in parenthesis:

The good news is, it looks like the reviews are lining up with the add-ons correctly.  The bad news is, the reviews are definitely not in the database.

In fact, they are actively disappearing.  Review 98584 is in yesterday's database and not in today's.  This prompted further digging and it looks like they are being deleted by one or more of our editors.  I'm grabbing the editor activity log now.

It looks like the software is functioning properly - these reviews had been flagged and deleted by an editor.  We've updated the guidelines for reviews and asked everyone to take a look at them again.

After some discussion via email we're not planning on restoring the deleted reviews.
