Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5
I've experienced this on Windows XP, SP2 and SP3, so I'd say it's a common bug.
When I leave FF open and hibernate the PC, then wake it up and close FF, it will start closing but then it'll use 99% of processor and never exit.
I always have to kill the process in this case and when I start FF again, it seems that everything was saved on close (even session data) and no "Do you want to restore?" dialog is open.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start FF, browse a website or two
2. hibernate Windows
3. wake up Windows from Hibernation
4. close Firefox and check Task Manager
Actual Results:
FF fails to close and starts consume 99% of processor power.
Expected Results:
FF should close and exit the process normally

Do you have the latest plugins and can you also reproduce this in safe-mode?

I have the latest versions of all addons.
In safe mode, this doesn't seem to be happening.
I even left all add-ons enabled and did not reset anything in Safe Mode and it all worked.
Do you need list of addons? Got quite a few here, since working as webdeveloper.

All the firefox version(3.0.x 3.1 b1 b2 and b3)after hybernation are VERY slow and cannot use the bookmarks;
in the task manager there's a Firefox istance running but it's impossible to be terminated.
