When creating an account with a <username>@users.sourceforge.net address specified, the confirmation email never arrives at the final destination.

This did not occur at http://bugzilla.xfce.org/createaccount.cgi

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. navigate to http://bugs.winehq.org/createaccount.cgi
2. enter a valid users.sourceforge.net email address
3. wait for the confirmation...
Actual Results:  
More that 24 hours later, and 3 attempts later (in case of a typographical error) confirmation email still hasn't arrived. However, using same email address at http://bugzilla.xfce.org/createaccount.cgi worked as expected.

Expected Results:  
confirmation email should arrive within a few minutes

So this is clearly a local problem, unrelated to Bugzilla. Maybe the MTA blocking some emails.

How is it "clearly ... unrelated to Bugzilla"? Is it not the Bugzilla interface that the user sees? That makes it related regardless of whether or not Bugzilla is actually causing the problem. As a developer myself, I've learned that in the eyes of the user, perception is reality. Therefore, I think it would be in the interest of the Bugzilla team to work with WineHQ.org to resolve the issue rather than potentially causing users to determine that either WineHQ or Bugzilla are amateur-ish projects (to be avoided).

Your definition of "perception is reality" is clearly wrong. If there is some restriction somewhere which prevents emails to be sent to users.sourceforge.net from WineHQ.org, that's unrelated to Bugzilla. Period. Please let us triage our own bugs, thanks.
