Details

(Whiteboard: closeme 2009-10-05 [notacrash])

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/1.0.154.43 Safari/525.19
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090204 Shredder/3.0b2pre

After a complete computer crash, having one draft mail open, the Drafts mailbox (using IMAP) does not work as expected. It is empty (but it is not - checked using another program) and every time I click it I get "The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Empty message to APPEND". After resaving the draft using Outlook, I can now see it in the Drafts folder in Shredder, but it still gives the same error message. I think this reproducible using the procedure described above. Have not tried thou.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a draft. Write something. Wait for Shredder to save at least one draft of the draft.
2. Crash your computer (or Shredder using "Kill").
3. Open the program again and go to the Drafts folder.
Actual Results:
I don't know. I tried to reproduce it with an gmail account. But it didn't work out, so it's probably an IMAP thing. I noted thou that the draft that was saved in my Gmail account, disappeared after the crash ... Not so good.

Expected Results:

Can you create a new profile and try it there?

It's due tot "flag \Deleted" mail, isn't it? Tb doesn't display deleted mail unless requested.

> every time I click it I get "The current command did not succeed.
> The mail server responded: Empty message to APPEND".

Get IMAP log, and check IMAP flow.

If Tb's fault is seen in log, and if log analysis by developers will be required, attach log to this bug(never paste, please)

Bug 515731 is for next case.

> S-~/mail/Drafts:CreateNewLineFromSocket: 6 NO Can't save a zero byte message.
