But in other OS in Firefox (in XP, Mandriva, Ubuntu,...) and in other programs (IE, Opera) is do not take so long (less then 1 sec.). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. push Close button or mouse scroll on the tab Actual Results: To slow tab close on x64 Vista Expected Results: Faster tab close on x64 Vista If several tabs are open the "close tab time" is bigger, then bigger the number of open tabs. But if only 2 tabs are open the "close tab time" is also to big (more then 2 sec.).
Alexander, Do you get the same results with the latest beta of 3.5? available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html
Summary: To slow tab close on x64 Vista → Too slow tab close on x64 Vista
Thank you very much. In the new version of Mozilla Firefox (3.5 Beta 4) in x64 Vista time delay when closing a tab does not occur (it take less then 1 sec.).
