STR:
1. load whitehouse.gov
2. access the 'email' or search text field
3. try left/right arrow to move the cursor through the text

A.R: fails
E.R: move cursor

In Camino and Firefox Mac, this is even worse, as option+left/right arrow fail.

In bug 475102 I tracked down the issue to the use of a jquery plugin:

INCOMPLETE due to lack of activity since the end of 2009.

If someone is willing to investigate the issues raised in this bug to determine whether they still exist, *and* work with the site in question to fix any existing issues, please feel free to re-open and assign to yourself.
