This behavior only appears to happen while in Firefox and while loading a new page. My bluetooth phone also loses connection if it's attached at the time. Reproducible: Always
Are you using the latest drivers? The fact that your phone stops working makes it seem like it is not a FF thing.

Please report this to the manufacturers of the hardware in question. This is some sort of drivers problem.
