User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011912 Firefox/3.0.6 Problem discussed in the following Google Support Forum thread: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Docs/thread?tid=3ce814c149fbb05c&hl=en&fid=3ce814c149fbb05c0004626e76cafe66 Although I referenced the URL of a test page set up by another user in the thread, I also reproduced the problem with my own embedded Google Gadgets: http://www.stanford.edu/~mcmurdie/Car.html Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to either of the URL mentioned in Details using Firefox 2. Embedded Google Gadgets on these sites will not load, though box will appear. 3. Try a non-Firefox browser at same URL (e.g. Camino, Opera, Safari). They do load fine. Actual Results: The Gadget box with Firefox is the appropriate size, but no gadget is displayed at all, just an infinitely spinning "loading" wheel. Expected Results: Load the embedded Gadget. It should look pretty much the same as the gadgets usually do, and how they do in other browsers. For any additional info and user comments, try the Google Forum describing this recent problem at http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Docs/thread?tid=3ce814c149fbb05c&hl=en&fid=3ce814c149fbb05c0004626e76cafe66
Are you saying this bug is occurring in more than just Firefox? The latest release versions of the other browsers seem to be loading the Google Gadgets just fine, but not Firefox.
I can confirm this behavior with Firefox 3.0.5 using Ubuntu 8.10. For example, the page http://www.ultimateslc.org/test does not load the gadget.
(In reply to comment #2) > Are you saying this bug is occurring in more than just Firefox? The latest > release versions of the other browsers seem to be loading the Google Gadgets > just fine, but not Firefox. Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. Using http://www.ultimateslc.org/test: The WebKit (build 40771) error console has this to say: Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://www.ultimateslc.org/test from frame with URL http://tngmqk5kknht7idkbhrks3qtltpmeg9f.spreadsheets.gmodules.com/gadgets/ifr?up__table_query_url=http%3A%2F%2Fspreadsheets.google.com%2Ftq%3Frange%3DA1%253AH100%26gid%3D2%26headers%3D-1%26key%3DpD83EY8ddjirpcemKqxaiYA%26pub%3D1&up_title=Scores%20and%20Schedule&up_last_query_hash=&up_groupbycolumn=&up__table_query_refresh_interval=0&up_showfilters=1&up_aggregateby=&up_enablegrouping=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fig%2Fmodules%2Ftable.xml. Domains, protocols and ports must match. ifr (line 652)Error: SYNTAX_ERR: DOM Exception 12 Which is similar to what the error console of Firefox flags. Opera 10.a has a similar message.
