User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2) Gecko/20081201 Firefox/3.1b2

Consider an HTML form with lots of checkboxes, all of which have the same name, but different values. Firefox performance in interacting with such a form is abysmal, including often several seconds of complete unresponsiveness at high CPU usage.

To try this, I challenge you to enter some text (more than, say, 40 characters) into the textarea in the bottom of the test case page given above.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
See above.
Actual Results:
slooooow

Expected Results:
fast interaction, as always

(Not sure whether this counts as a hang quite yet -- it certainly creates a way for a malicious party to hang the user's browser. So perhaps this is actually a major problem.)
Confirming with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090207 Shiretoko/3.1b3pre

Works fine with 3.0.6, adding perf and regression keywords
