Normally tab text color is red for unread tabs, then turns black.
Now stays always red even when tabs have already been viewed

iirc it's not by default. Are you running Tab Mix Plus extension?
yes I had tabmixplus. now restarted without it and it's the opposite, tabs are always black, no matter whether they are unread or not. I had it in Firefox 3.1b2.
3.2a1pre are nightly builds of the development branch. Nothing is guaranteed to work, especially with extensions. If TMP is not working on such a build, then you need to get in contact with the TMP author.
