if you select the last message in a message list, and cause that message to be moved to another folder by using delete, archive, or junk, you end up with a display like the one i'm attaching.

Assigning to bienvenu, as I think that he's looking at figuring out how to clear the message pane on message delete, which should clear this up along w/ a bunch of other issues.

interestingly, this does not happen to me - any trick to getting it to happen? I've tried deleting both with the trash icon in the message header, and using the delete key. I tried it both w/ saved searches and local folders. I haven't tried imap yet...

I just tried w/ an imap folder, selecting last message, hitting 'a' for archive.
