Right now, snmp traps are caught by the log processing system, so snmp traps are not noticed quickly at all.

SNMPTT fixes that by submitting traps directly into Nagios for alerting.

Do it.
SNMPTT left a bad taste when I tried to get it up and running. Find something else.
