Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open 1+ tabs 2. grab one tab 3. drag the tab away from the other tabs, like you were moving the tab order, but move outside the tab group, release Actual Results: See details above Expected Results: Moved the tab at the outermost place in the tab group
http://mozillalinks.org/wp/2008/11/firefox-31-gets-tab-tearing/ Not a bug. In Firefox 3.1 this is a new feature to let you tear off a tab to create a new window. The sensitivities of this in beta 2 weren't yet perfected, so it works better in recent builds. (beta 2 is quite old now)
