selection stays at 1 character until I release the mouse

steps to reproduce:

1) use the mouse to click-drag-select some characters, but don't let go of the mouse button
2) without letting go of the mouse button, move the mouse back to the original starting point

actual results

1) one character remains selected, until I release the mouse button

expected results

1) when returning to the original starting put, I just see the cursor (like in other editors)

This is a mass migration from Mozilla Labs :: Bespin to Bespin :: General.

This bug likely still needs to be triaged and categorized.

ACETRANSITION

The Skywriter project has merged with Ajax.org's Ace project (the full server part of which is their Cloud9 IDE project). Background on the change is here:
