User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; de; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

If your are on a page A and click on a link to page B, and this page B automatically redirects you to page C, then the from_visit-value of page C is page A.

In my example, these pages are:
A: http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=homepage&btnG=Google-Suche&meta=
B: http://www.google.de/url?q=http://www.computer-tipps.net/webdesign_html_css.php&ei=DJOdSem6Es-J_ga4ooyPBQ&sa=X&oi=smap&resnum=1&ct=result&cd=2&usg=AFQjCNGlxeLBQBK4X84V0LOBfdQ3KvpWJQ
C: http://www.computer-tipps.net/webdesign_html_css.php

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I've made a testcase to clarify and give a concrete example. It's my first testcase ever and unfortunately it's not that perfect.

1. You have to call the function "handleLoad()"
2. Because the loadURI() function does not work (don't know why), you have to click on the link called "HTML & CSS"
3. Look at the console, which shows the details.

Expected Results:
IMO, the from_visit of page C should be page B.
Attached file Testcase
If forgot to mention that the "HTML & CSS" link is a sub-link of the first result on that google page.
bug 411966 changed this so that from_visit is now the previous page, but in future we want a more coneniente way to store and return chains for every visit.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
