Please give more details. CPU? Memory? Operating System/Version? Do you have extensions installed? Does this still happen if you start SeaMonkey with the -safe-mode command line switch?
it doesn't use very much processing power once it has been opened i am using 2.0a3 (i think) i have the add-ons known as "no-script" "MR Tech Toolkit" "ChatZilla" "ad-block plus" i have windows xp home
