Description

build: M17

selecting text on the above bugzilla query page causes mozilla to freeze for a
moment with 100% cpu usage. if you select just small parts of text that is on
one line and in a single column, cpu usage hops up for just a second or so, but
if the selection is larger (especially when its across several columns/lines)
mozilla freezes for almost 30 seconds after releasing mouse button. this is on a
600mhz cpu.

*SPAM*: Changing the QA contact of all open/resolved Selection bugs from
elig@netscape.com to BlakeR1234@aol.com. After the many great years of service
Eli has given to Mozilla, it's time for him to move on; he has accepted a
position at Eazel. We'll be sad to see him go, and I'll do my best to fill his
spot...
