What kind of UI is this on the left side of your screenshot. I don't recognize this at all? Do you use other extensions as well?

Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 (20081209), Czech localization, default theme - Thunderbird (default) 2.0
Lightning 0.9 (build 2008091719), Czech localization
Windows XP, Royale theme

Yes, I use quite many extensions, but it is all the same when all dissabled (except Lightning).

Pavel, my point is, I don't know the UI right at the bottom of your second screenshot. What is that? Does that come from an extension?
This looks a lot like it is this extension/UI that is buggy and not Lightning.

Simon, this is the default search bar that is enabled by Ctrl+F.
But I don't think this is a Lightning issue. The text of the search bar doesn't wrap and therefore overflows its boundaries. You can see the same in Firefox or Thunderbird without Lightning if you reduce the window width.

Yes, sorry, it is search bar or search pane enabled by Ctrl+F.

Ok thanks.
As Stefan points out, this is not a Lightning issue, but a general issue with the find bar.
