Please add an option to handle manage email addresses on a single "To:", "Cc:", "Bcc:", etc (comma or semicolon-separated). line in composition window (like most other email clients).

When handling a large recipient list (whether when composing a new email or "reply to all"-responding to one having a large recipient list), the current manner of having each and every address on its own line is very inefficient to work with--especially if one needs to, for instance, copy a block of addresses from "To:" to "Cc:" or quickly delete some addresses. With a large list this of addresses this currently requires a lot of unnecessary scrolling and clicking.

The current implementation is reasonable only for very small recipient lists (which my include mailing lists). It gets very laborious beyond that.

Looks like the same as bug 369985 (itself unconfirmed), also similar to MailNews Core bug 440377 comment #2 (again, that one is also unconfirmed).

This one is clearer than 369985 confirming

Hmm, this was confirmed per comment #2 and the duped against bug 440377.
Does this imply that you wanted to confirm bug 440377 as well?
