Description

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Why:
======================

This way it becomes very easy to e.g. upload a file to a website you use a lot, or to translate a word using a form that only reads POST data (something the "Search Engines" feature at the moment doesn't support IIRC).

How:
======================

Make it possible to "pass" parameters to a bookmark, for example by replacing variables in a bookmark URL with the data the user supplies (through a text input widget, or a file upload widget, etc.).

For example, the input widgets could be "embedded" into the 'Bookmarks Toolbar'.

Reproducible: Always

I see the summary got changed to "possibility of passing any GET/POST data to bookmarks: "remember this form"". I just want to make clear that my feature request is not only about a "remember this form" feature, but about more powerful bookmarks.

Gavin - Should this be an extension?

Yes; certainly useful, but not to enough users to be worth shipping in Firefox.
