From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; m17) Gecko/20000807 BuildID: 2000080712 triggering a javascript rollover on an image causes the background color of the table cell the image resides in to vanish. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://doaonline.fighters.net 2. mouseover the fighters.net logo in the upper-right corner Actual Results: black <td> background under said image disappears (becomes the same as page background) Expected Results: the background should still be there. =)
Very true :-) Confirmed on 20000819 WinNT 4. Gerv

using build 2000091317 on win2K pro, i am no longer experiencing this problem (hooray!)
Using 9/14 builds on Win98, WinNT, Linux and Mac, bug behavior is still there. Mousing over image links, causes the image to disappear (top and bottom of page). Changing Platform and OS to 'All'
OS: Windows NT → All
Hardware: PC → All
this one has nothing to do with the images themselves (that's an entirely different bug, related to #48017, i think). this one dealt only with the bgcolor on the <td> section (specifically, behind the "fighters.net" rollover). the behavior i originally described does not happen with the 9/14 build, at least on win2K pro or winNT.
Saw this happen with bottom rollovers only under Mac OS 9.0.4. Bounced back to bugzilla, went back to site -- rollovers behaved normally. Mozilla build: 2000092804-M18.
I can't see this specific site however we have a similar sounding problem with http://www.oit.net moving the mouse up and down over the blue icons on the left causes them to dissapear one by one and collapse to the right. Liux buld 0.7 20001010517

http://www.oit.net/ no works ok for me on 2001030110 Win2k. As the original URL does not exist any more, do we have a another testcase?
These nasty typos ... I mean "It _now_ works ok".
the original site can be seen temporarily at http://www.doaon.com, but the issue seems to have been resolved, from what i can see.
Marking FIXED as per reporter comments.
