User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8.1.15) Gecko/20080623 Firefox/2.0.0.15 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: I read my mails on several locations using multiple instances of thunderbird. On only one location (at home), I have thunderbird "remove the mail from server". So at home, I actually have *all* of my incoming mails. It would be great when I could have mails deleted from the server when I'm on a different location and marking them as spam! I really don't need to see all of those spam mails twice or thrice. So my suggestion would be to have an extra option in "Server Settings": - Leave messages on server [ ] for at most ... days [ ] Until I delete them [ ] Until I delete messages marked as SPAM Cheers P Reproducible: Didn't try
Why not just set Options | Privacy | Junk | When I mark messages as junk: [x] Delete them
I have that option set. It doesn't delete the mail on the server, only in the client copy of the mailbox. So when I read my mail somewhere else I get to mark the spam messages as junk *again*. This is POP, not IMAP.
