steps to reproduce:

1. set middlemouse.contentLoadURL pref to "true"
2. paste url into new tab, quickly followed by hitting "Alt" (e.g. to switch windows on desktop using alt-tab for instance)
3. repeat 2. until you see the result (below)

result:
 sometimes firefox pops up the save file dialog

expected result:
 firefox should always open the pasted url

I can reproduce the issue 100% of the time when middle-clicking and pressing alt-tab immediately thereafter (I get the Save As dialog).

I tried a browser.jar with the fix which Alexander prepared for me, and it fixed the issue in 100% of my tries.

(It's a very frequent for me as I often paste an URL with middle click in a new tab and then switch back to the app I was in when I read that URL.)
