Right-click a bookmark Actual Results: The whole contextual menu is greyed out: http://i39.tinypic.com/egbk94.png Expected Results: I should be able to interact with the contextual menu. It only happens sometimes.

Actually, this shouldn't be a duplicate because it is reported against 3.1 where bug 438909 should be fixed. Charles: in the original tab, the menu entries were usually greyed out right after closing another tab (possibly opened via the bookmark context menu and "Open in new tab"). Maybe you could try if your problem can be triggered reliably this way.

@Stefan: Thanks. I didn't understand very well. What do you call the "original tab"? Also, do you call "the menu entries", the ones that are displayed in the contextual menu when I right-click a bookmark entry in my left pane? Please let me know the procedure needed to try finding the source of the bug. I'm eager to help ;)
I have news. I am now able to reproduce the bug. You need to display the bookmarks in the left pane (Ctrl-B). Then, click a link listed in the bookmark list of the left pane. While the browser is looking up the remote hostname, and before the page even starts loading, right-click bookmark entries in your left pane. The contextual menu is always greyed out (until the page you just clicked a second ago starts loading for real).

"Original tab" was a typo. I meant "original bug". Congrats for finding a way to reproduce this behavior.
Sounds like a dupe of bug 451364, which is now fixed. Please try reproducing this in the latest trunk build.
