There was a significant ts increase on the Windows XP unittest boxes today -- previously the value was pretty stable at around 460, and now it's up to 600, on 2 boxes: qm-pxp-trunk03 and qm-pxp-trunk01. (qm-pxp-trunk02 isn't cycling right now for some reason, so it doesn't get a vote)
Here's the graph:
http://graphs.mozilla.org/#show=395018,395046,395006&sel=1235658780,1235684641
Here's the before/after logs for each box:
* qm-pxp-trunk01:
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Firefox/1235671792.1235681762.16444.gz
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Firefox/1235677333.1235688966.32627.gz
* qm-pxp-trunk03:
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Firefox/1235674631.1235686587.27970.gz
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Firefox/1235681406.1235691969.6619.gz
The tightest regression range (between the last good build on qm-pxp-trunk03 and the first bad build on qm-pxp-trunk01) is:

Possibly caused by Bug 478086? (its checkin message mentions "enumerating drives/disks on Win32")

Looks like these numbers are back to normal with that backout.

Just for curiosity, how many NICs have those machines?

All the Talos boxes are mac minis, so that would make it one NIC per test box - if I'm understanding the question correctly.

Thanks, this supports my theory that the windows API getting info on all NICs that caused this Ts is slow independently on number of network cards.
