The theme of this redesign seemed to be "remove all color except the one button, which we'll make blue". I'm not sure why, though. The green tabs were perfectly fine, the top bar even could be the Mozilla Blue (like on mozilla.com) and that'd be nice. Please add a little color back to the site for those of us who have to browse it every day.

Colour was stripped out for a couple of reasons:

- this is a tool, so the idea was to focus all usage on the page widgets and not on the visual design (cf. desktop applications)
- I tried a number of iterations with some colour added in (both using colours that already existed in the .com / Mozilla web site spectrum as well as others) and could not find something that looked good without being too distracting.

That said, this is the first public iteration, so we'll look into improving this for a future release.
