Description

9 years ago
User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009020410 Fedora/3.0.6-1.fc10 Firefox/3.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009020410 Fedora/3.0.6-1.fc10 Firefox/3.0.6

Using Fedora 10 (also seen in Fedora 8 & 9) when I browse to https://ssl.dwebsite.com/secure2/ce_isd191/php/login.php?action=p&referer=public.php the Firefox browser closes unexpectedly.

The only firefox error I could find in xsession-errors is

/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.6/run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  4468 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Fedora 10
2. Browse to https://ssl.dwebsite.com/secure2/ce_isd191/php/login.php?action=p&referer=public.php
Actual Results:
Firefox closes

Expected Results:
Firefox remains open and browses to the URL.

Work around: use Opera

If you need me to supply additional debug information please indicate how I should acquire the information and I will submit it as part of this bug.

Thanks.

I cannot reproduce it on a linux (debian) system. Can you reproduce the bug with a fresh profile ? From your user agent, it looks like you're using a fedora packaged firefox. Can you reproduce it with firefox downloaded from mozilla site ? Can you reproduce it with a nightly build ?
